Reimbursement Specialist
Duration: 6-month Contract (with possible extension or conversion)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, any shift between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Experience in patient services, reimbursement, or healthcare customer support preferred
Flexibility to work any shift Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 8 PM
The Reimbursement Specialist provides critical support to patients, physicians, and payors by managing insurance verification, pharmacy claims processing, and reimbursement-related inquiries. Accurately document all communications and transactions in Biologics’ Management Information System (MIS)
Assist with administrative projects, including annual reverification activities
Triage prescriptions to preferred pharmacies or HUB providers when Biologics cannot fulfill the request
Process and interpret pharmacy claims in Biologics’ MIS
Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians
Respond to internal written communications and requests received via chat or email
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency with management or CRM systems
Prior experience in healthcare reimbursement, patient access, or insurance support roles.
