Scroll down to find an indepth overview of this job, and what is expected of candidates Make an application by clicking on the Apply button. $A Bartender is responsible for mixes, serving alcoholic beverages, and non‑alcoholic drinks to guests of the bar and service bar following standard recipes and the company's policies; merchandises drinks; Discounts on food * Special events for associates only * Building lifelong friendships * Resume building skills * Flexible schedule * Able to successfully \"slow down a guest\" or cut off an intoxicated guest when necessary. * Follows recipes to prepare beverages such as liquor, cocktails, and other drinks. * Operates within full compliance of state liquors laws, regulations, health codes, and sanitation guidelines. * Conducts basic cash and credit card transactions. * Knows the menu and how to read each guest to make appropriate beverage and food recommendations. Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. * Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. * Preferred availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday California Food Handlers Card
