What does a Director Strategy, and Market Intelligence do at Rinnai?

The Director of Strategy & Market Intelligence will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's strategic initiatives, including market and competitive intelligence, and business planning. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, analyze market trends and competitive landscapes, and develop strategies that drive business success.

  • This position is located at 103 International Drive Peachtree City, GA with a hybrid schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support internal strategic initiatives by conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify market drivers, enhance strategies, and inform business decisions with primary and secondary research, data, and publicly available information.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's revenue and operating profit goals and strategic priorities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Lead the development of business cases and financial models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Drive deeper understanding of Rinnai America markets, leading competitive analysis, identifying issues, opportunities, and trends.
  • Working with senior leadership to define and implement mid-to-long term strategic objectives and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities, and internal performance.
  • Construct financial and economic models to analyze data including business case development and pro forma analysis.
  • Support the development and delivery of the strategic planning process and deliverables.
  • Assist with the development of executive and board-level presentations and materials.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required

REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing. MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of professional experience with strong Strategy / Planning experience
  • Proven track record of leading and executing successful strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of primary research techniques and leveraging secondary research for insights.
  • Consulting experience a plus
  • Experience in the Plumbing, building, HVAC, or related industries

SKILLS

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results.
  • Project management skills/ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office tools proficiency
