Hiring Quality Control Chemist in Cleveland, OH - Onsite Title: Quality Control Chemist Location: Cleveland, OH Type: W2 Contract Shift: – 2nd Shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM, M–F) Pay: 35-40/hr. Summary: Seeking an experienced QC Chemist to perform analytical testing, support method validation, and ensure GMP-compliant operations on 2nd shift. Responsibilities: Perform wet chemistry tests (IR, pH, TLC, solubility, etc.) and operate HPLC. Follow compendial methods (USP/EP/JP) and written procedures. Review analytical data; draft/execute validation protocols and reports. Identify and investigate OOS results with minimal guidance. Complete instrument/titrant calibrations and follow GDP/Data Integrity. Maintain safe, clean, and compliant lab practices (GMP, OSHA, ISO). Work independently and contribute to team objectives and process improvements. Qualifications BS in Chemistry/Life Science + 5 yrs lab experience OR AS + 10 yrs non-academic lab experience. Experience in method validation, compendial testing, and GMP labs. Strong organization, critical thinking, initiative, and computer skills (Microsoft 365). Requirements Pass background check & drug/alcohol screen. Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25 lbs.
