Tool and Fixture Design Engineer An established, fast-paced machine shop is seeking a Tool and Fixture Design Engineer to join the team immediately The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who is skilled in drafting and/or CNC programming.

Responsibilities of the Tool and Fixture Design Engineer

Work with clients to design custom products that meet their specifications
Estimate cost, feasibility, and timeline of projects
Develop tools, fixtures, and test equipment required for manufacturing
Work with internal teams to meet client needs
Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Tool and Fixture Design Engineer

Experience preferred in CNC machining and manufacturing processes, including programming
Drafting, MasterCam, and SolidWorks experience, including the design of complex tools, jigs, and fixtures
Knowledge preferred of CNC speeds and feeds, measuring instruments, micrometers, calipers, indicators, edge finders, drills, reamers, and end mills
Estimating experience
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
