ALTA IT Services is staffing a direct hire role for a skilled and dedicated Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician to join a respected federal integrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm systems, encompassing control panels, detectors, and notification devices throughout the greater Albuquerque, MN area and some locations in Western Texas. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and reliability of fire detection systems for our clients.
00+ per hour, based on experience and knowledge*
Conduct comprehensive testing of fire alarm and Clean Agent Suppression systems, covering initiating devices, notification appliances, and control panels.
Perform troubleshooting and efficient repair of Fire Alarm and Clean Agent suppression systems to minimize downtime.
Generate detailed reports documenting testing procedures and service activities.
Review and interpret electrical layout blueprints to facilitate installations and repairs.
Regularly inspect and test fire alarm systems to guarantee optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
~ Mechanical aptitude preferred, with a solid understanding of system components.
~ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
~ OSHA certification is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to safety protocols.
