Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior-Level Project Manager to lead and manage IT projects within our organization. As a Senior-Level Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, quality assurance analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale application and/or transformational projects through the full project lifecycle and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.
  • Proactively Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to established schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate and communicate project status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

2.Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead cross-functional teams of all sizes, including IT and business stakeholders, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team environment.
  • Facilitate effective communication and ensure all team members are aligned on project objectives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners, as necessary, to achieve project goals.
  • Escalate relevant issues to project leadership in a timely and proactive manner and drive timely decisions to mitigate project impact.

3. Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are addressed and expectations are managed.
  • Obtain stakeholder feedback and incorporate it into project plans and decisions.

4. Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure quality assurance processes are executed to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks.
  • Proactively identify and address potential project risks and issues.

5. Organizational Change Management:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify which stakeholders will be impacted by the change. Understand their concerns, expectations, and potential resistance to change.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand the impact of the proposed changes on the organization, including processes, systems, culture, and individuals. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the change.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a communication plan to effectively communicate the changes to all stakeholders.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to evaluate the readiness of the organization and its staff to embrace the proposed changes and ensure the organization is ready to adapt to the changes effectively.

6. Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Conduct project retrospectives to capture lessons learned and apply them to future projects.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and project management methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven project leadership experience as typically gained in 5-10 years, demonstrating successful project outcomes.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large scale, enterprise-wide transformational software application, technology infrastructure and/or DevOps projects through full project lifecycle with emphasis on waterfall methodology.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and application development processes.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management with demonstrated ability to motivate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with issue and risk management including analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in organizational change management is highly desired.
  • Experience in leading SAP related projects is a plus
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
