Thanks, Stephen M Hrutka Principal Consultant HRUCKUS LLC Executive Summary: HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Principal Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to support a complex, mission-critical Information Assurance Program. The successful candidate will participate in the development and evaluation of system engineering and security documentation, provide technical support for the integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems, and support DoD Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes. Position Description: The Principal Cybersecurity Systems Engineer will be responsible for performing high assurance evaluation activities, participating in security reviews, documenting deficiencies, and recommending process improvements. This role involves developing and evaluating system engineering documentation, providing technical support for the full system lifecycle, and supporting DoD C&A processes. Position Responsibilities: Perform cybersecurity high assurance evaluation activities to include reviews of security evaluation documents and other high assurance artifacts/documents for devices undergoing certification and assessment. Provide technical support for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, and performing technical/non-technical assessments. Support the planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process and other Government Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes. Attend and participate in relevant security-related meetings and reviews to translate vulnerability knowledge into guidance to prevent and/or manage risk. Clearly document security deficiencies found in the evaluation of artifacts and documents. Recommend requirement clarification and process/template improvement to mitigate security concerns.
