Summary: The engineering designer develops and designs plastic and metal components for bumper, fascia, grill, wheel liner and exterior trim components. Job Responsibilities: • Design and release exterior plastic components for bumper, fascia, grill and trim. •Utilize robust CAD modeling for part design, integration and execution in NX. •Design, develop and integrate components from development through to production release utilizing NX / Teamcenter • Proactively propose alternate solutions and work closely with the studio design and engineering teams to integrate and develop refined design solutions. • Complete parametric designs with quality to meet project timing Skills: • NX and Teamcenter proficiency • Creativity and strong verbal and written communication skills • Independent thinking and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment. xrczosw • Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production plastic components Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or 5-7 years experience required.
