Vice President, Software Engineering - Agentic AI Mastercard is seeking a visionary Vice President of Software Engineering - Agentic AI to join the Foundry R&D Engineering team. • Provide strategic leadership and vision in Generative and Agentic AI technologies, including architecture and real-world applications.

• Proven expertise and passion for Generative and Agentic AI technologies.
• Hands-on experience as a Software Engineer.

• Proven experience in product development and partnering with business teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex architecture patterns and their business and technical implications to executive and customer stakeholders.
• Ability to coach teams on full-stack development and promote end-to-end service ownership.
• Experience fostering standard software patterns and reuse of common libraries and services across engineering teams.
• Expertise in optimizing SDLC methodologies, defining metrics, and automating processes to improve lead time and quality.
• Skilled in performing architecture and cost analysis for public and private cloud environments. Advanced knowledge of modern software engineering concepts and methodologies.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Skilled at managing multiple concurrent activities and collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
• Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational skills.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
