Competitive Base Salary PLUS Commission
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in the event management industry
Degree from an accredited university with a focus in Hospitality, Hotel or Restaurant Management, Business Administration, Communications or related major
Excellent communication, MS Office, Google Workspace, and presentation skills
This position primarily handles events (weddings, corporate, special occasions, etc.) Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue by securing event bookings, up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
Ensures events provide a seamless experience for clients, coordinating activities from marketing/sales, concept/design, through service and operations.
Responsible for preparing all event documentation, coordinating with internal departments/teams, partners and clients to ensure consistent, high-level events.
Marketing/Sales Outreach, Lead/Client Management, Management of Event Logistics and Operations
Works with client to secure new event bookings/sales, including up-selling products and services throughout the event process
Uses his/her judgment to integrate current trends in event management and event design
Works directly with new leads and clients from pre-event through post-event phases, coordinating with both internal/external teams for the execution of details
Identifies operational challenges associated with events and determines how to best work with the staff and customer to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions
Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary
Facilitates various meetings as necessary (Banquet Event Order meeting, etc)
Coordinates and communicates event details both verbally and in writing to the clients and operational teams/partners
Ensures billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with clients prior to processing the final bill
Acts as liaison between field teams, partners and customers throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event)
Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, partners, vendors and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency

Conducts formal pre- and post-event meetings as required to review/communicate group needs and feedback
