Direct message the job poster from Arctech We are seeking an experienced Supplier Sourcing Expertto join our dynamic team at Arctech Solar, a leading global provider of solar tracking systems and solutions. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our supply chain, ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials and components that drive our innovation in the solar tracker industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and a deep understanding of the solar tracker sector. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize the cost, quality, and delivery of materials and services. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative sources of supply. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and terms. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and continuous improvement. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and work with suppliers to address any issues. Analyze market trends and supplier costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction. Manage and execute cost-saving initiatives and drive value engineering efforts. Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that all purchased materials and services meet the required specifications and standards. Develop and implement supplier quality improvement programs. Identify and assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity in the event of supply disruptions. Ensure that all sourcing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Promote and implement sustainable sourcing practices in line with Arctech's commitment to environmental responsibility. Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings. Analyze procurement data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in procurement is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus on the renewable energy industry especially the tracker sector. Strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles. Familiarity with solar tracker components and materials, as well as the renewable energy market. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
