Establish, monitor, and maintain the process parameters, design and process development, continuous improvement, machine trouble shooting and maintenance, robot programming, lean manufacturing techniques, tooling set-up and design, training, and special projects.
Establish, monitor and maintain the process parameters ensuring production standards, quality standards, and customer requirements are met for Co-extrusion Blow Molding Machines
Coordinate all process development activities at the plant level. Coordinate troubleshooting and repair of equipment
Basic robot programming
Coordinate and complete tooling changes and machine set-up
Assist in the training of facility personnel
Communicate equipment information, improvements, changes, and corrective actions
Actively participate in machine design and layout of facility
Communicate with vendors regarding equipment support
Maintain working relationship with internal and external customers
Responsible for adhering to all principles of the quality, safety, and environmental systems implemented in this facility
Able to use PFMEA tool to assess and mitigate potential failures in manufacturing processes
KPIs: resin waste improvement (kg/tank), scrap performance to budget, process setup instructions & training, establishment of process tolerance in accordance with company CRITIPAR guidelines.
Perform risk analysis before LOTO and work performed inside machines
Train and coach other technicians on LOTO and safe work practices
Responsible to check the correct application of LOTO, in line with procedures
Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures
Travel may be required. Personal Background

~ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
~4-7 years manufacturing experience, plastics or automotive preferred

Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data
Has a technical knowledge on: electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics, PLC logic, with the ability to recognize and manage hazardous energy sources machine by machine
Full understanding of the LOTO: concepts, application, method, devices and the instructions used to lockout/tagout machinery
