Very busy at the PTAB and ITC REQUIREMENTS • Graduated with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school • Admitted to or eligible for admission in Washington, DC. • Prior patent litigation experience in district courts and/or before the ITC • Previous experience with handling patent infringement and validity analyses • Previous experience with drafting and preparing motions and briefs concerning patent issues • Previous experience with handling/managing discovery aspects of litigation • Some previous experience/involvement with preparing for, defending, or taking depositions is preferable • Some previous experience with working with expert and fact witnesses is preferable • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field of study is preferred, but not required • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings SUMMARY Vanguard Intellectual Partners (Vanguard-IP) specializes in the placement of IP/Patent professionals nationwide.
