Vice President of Engineering
Full Time Permanent Role
We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Engineering to lead Client's engineering organization. This leader will oversee the design, development, scalability, and operational excellence of Client's financial platform and products.
Provide strategic leadership for Client's engineering organization, defining technical vision and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Oversee software development, architecture, infrastructure, and production support for all Client products and platforms.
Ensure the security, scalability, and availability of all systems while maintaining compliance with financial industry standards and regulations.
Manage both local and offshore engineering teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations teams to deliver usercentric and reliable fintech solutions that enhance the customer experience.
Establish and track KPIs to measure engineering performance, delivery efficiency, and product reliability.
Build and maintain a strong culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement across all engineering teams.
Mentor and develop engineering leaders and staff, ensuring career growth, skill development, and accountability.
Lead efforts in automation, DevOps, and cloudnative practices to improve deployment speed and operational resilience.
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (required).
~8+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or SaaS environments.
~ Proven experience managing distributed teams, including offshore and onsite staff, with a focus on accountability and performance.
~ Handson technical expertise in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and modern development practices.
~ Experience managing largescale production environments and leading teams to quickly resolve issues and implement permanent fixes.
~ Deep understanding of system security, data privacy, compliance, and reliability best practices within financial technology environments.
~ Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams.
