AKT is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee sales and operations for our brand new studio in Chicago Old Town.
Combining personal training with movement-based techniques, AKT empowers members to become stronger in their bodies, minds, and communities, all while having fun
The ideal candidate will primarily drive sales and marketing, while also overseeing daily studio operations, including staff management.
2+ years of experience in fitness or relevant sales
~ Confidence in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps
~ Proficiency in managing revenue streams from memberships to retail
~ Strong writing and grammatical skills
~ Highly organized, proficient in data management, and able to prioritize
~ Trustworthy with confidential information
~ Proficiency with computers and studio software
Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development
Lead generation via grassroots marketing and networking
Manage staff schedules
Coordinate with vendors for inventory management
Supervise sales staff and trainers
Make high-level customer service decisions
Enforce policies and procedures
Ensure all administrative supplies are stocked
Participate in networking/community events and promotions
Manage marketing campaigns to generate leads
Competitive base salary based on experience and performance
Commission on sales
Performance-based bonuses
