This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization by managing purchasing activities, developing supplier relationships, and conducting cost analysis. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in supply chain management, purchase management, and negotiation. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet the organization's business needs. 2. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order creation. 3. Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. 4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality products and services, timely delivery, and competitive pricing. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their purchasing needs and develop appropriate sourcing strategies. 6. Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards. 7. Stay updated on market trends and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions. 8. Handle any supply chain disruptions and work on contingency plans to ensure business continuity. 9. Participate in contract negotiation and closure to secure advantageous terms. 10. Support the continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry. 3. Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and purchase management. 4. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing advantageous terms. 5. Solid knowledge of supplier or third party management software. 6. Proficient in cost analysis and financial data interpretation. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. 8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle supply chain disruptions effectively. 9. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions. 10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with purchasing software systems. 11. Professional certification in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing is a plus.
