SAP Treasury SME

IMP Notes: Currently Remote but can change to hybrid. Only candidates 1.5 hours or less from Middletown, PA will be considered May require onsite presence during: Solution Confirmation, PI Cycles, Showbacks, SIT, UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare. Must be able to reach client location within 3 hours in case of emergency. Description of Duties: The selected candidate will perform a variety of support duties, including: Serve as an IT point of contact and SME for Finance, Treasury, and Banking systems activities involved with the S/4HANA migration, coordinating with project, system integrator, and business resources as needed, including integration with related systems. Partner with the system integrator, internal IT, and business finance teams to provide configuration, development, testing, or other required support for Finance, Treasury, and Banking systems. Rapidly gain familiarity with client’s current state end-to-end Finance, Treasury, and Banking business processes to map these to To-Be S/4HANA processes. Participate in the review and testing of Finance, Treasury, and Banking activities in the current ECC environment and future S/4HANA environment as part of the SMART project. Support data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, testing, and validations of finance master and transactional data and processes. Assure modifications and upgrades are thoroughly and successfully tested and documented. Enhance project tracking, reporting, and analysis capabilities by partnering with business and technical teams. Assist project team in identifying training needs (new users, new processes, or group-specific functionality). Assist in troubleshooting project-related issues and support cutover and post-go-live hypercare phases. Support best practices for system and process change management and business practice documentation. Minimum Experience 6+ years configuring and supporting SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA Treasury and Banking components. 5+ years configuring treasury module for purchase/sale of bonds, money market sweeps, derivatives, and integration with Financial Accounting. At least 2 implementation projects for SAP Banking and Treasury components. Extensive experience designing and delivering reporting requirements (SAP Analytic Cloud is a strong plus). 5+ years processing lockbox files and electronic bank statements in SAP. Thorough understanding of end-to-end business processes in SAP Finance, Treasury, and Banking. Hands-on experience developing/reviewing/editing functional & technical designs, test documents, and training materials. Experience with month-end and year-end banking/treasury financial processes in ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA. Desired Skillset Experience with real-time and batch integration between SAP ECC 6.0/S4 and other systems/vendors. Experience with background job processing for finance and treasury processes. Experience handling ACH, check, real-time, and digital payment postings in SAP. Experience integrating SAP with external collection agencies and banks. Experience as a user in ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO). Experience planning/executing brownfield migrations from ECC6 to S/4HANA, including cloud migrations and SAP GUI to Fiori transitions. Experience developing and reviewing test scenarios, scripts, results, and hands-on testing in ADO. Understanding of public agency finance and treasury regulations. Certifications / Education Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems (or equivalent combination of education/experience). SAP Treasury and Risk Management (SAP TRM) certifications strongly preferred. Engagement Requirements Location & Work Setup Candidate preferred to be within the Continental United States. Work is virtual/remote until further notice. In-person interviews/work sessions will occur at client facilities. Onsite Expectations May require onsite presence during: Solution Confirmation, PI Cycles, Showbacks, SIT, UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare. Must be able to reach client location within 3 hours in case of emergency. Equipment & Connectivity Equipment must be picked up in-person (no reimbursement for travel). Equipment may include laptop, tablet, monitors, keyboard, mouse, etc. All equipment must be returned within 2 weeks of offboarding in good condition. Prime vendor will be billed for unreturned or damaged equipment. Travel & Expenses Reimbursements must follow federal GSA hotel/mileage/meal per diem guidelines and include receipts. Virtual Work Expectations Use cameras during meetings. Maintain professional appearance on camera. Be onsite as needed for planned implementations or system issues (with notice).
