As a Mechanic , you will work with your team to service and repair all fleet vehicles.

~ Shift: 1pm - 9pm, M - F, slightly flexible


Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all company vehicle types per company policy.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Document all vehicle repair and inspection information using our maintenance software program.
Perform inventory and order parts, supplies, as needed.
Performance Requirements:

~ Required operational knowledge of diesel equipment and tools normally associated with the troubleshooting and repairs of gasoline and diesel truck equipment.


Knowledge of International diesel medium-duty trucks as well as Ford gas and diesel engines is preferred.
Must be able to accurately perform preventive maintenance to fleet vehicles, have the ability to identify component failures, worn or damaged parts, diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems, and produce quality repairs.
Ability to communicate verbally using telephone for ordering parts and supplies as need.
Work is performed in a heated enclosed structure. Environment involves chemical handling,
Full-time schedule consists of a minimum 40-hour work week.
Must meet DOT standards to achieve brake and annual inspection certifications. A minimum of 1 year experience or a certificate from an approved training program.
As part of the qualification process for the Mechanic position, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required. This evaluation requires successful completion of testing in the following areas:

~ Lift: - 25lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 66 inches from the floor (1X)
~ Lift-Carry: - 8lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches from the floor, and horizontally transfer 15ft (4X)
~-18lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 300ft (1X)
~-50lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 2ft (2X)
