As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting hardworking families and guiding elementary-aged children during out-of-school time. Collaborate with school administrators and engage with students, helping them to dream big and aim high In this rewarding position, you will: Lead, mentor, and support fellow teachers in your classroom, modeling exemplary behaviors and offering constructive feedback. Implement KinderCare's innovative curriculum tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. Create a nurturing and safe environment where children can learn and play freely. Build strong partnerships with parents, working together to provide exceptional care and education. Contribute to your center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve goals in enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement. Foster positive relationships with families, fellow educators, licensing authorities, and community partners. To be considered for this position, you will need: Exceptional customer service skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively. Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements. Approval as a state trainer is preferred. 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or a willingness to obtain them. CPR and First Aid Certification or a commitment to obtaining certification. Physical capability to lift at least 40 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors. Able to engage with children at their level and ensure their safety through effective communication in English. The hourly pay for this position ranges from $17.50 to $20.05.
