The successful candidate will be integral to our accounting team, managing all aspects of accounts payable and contributing to the financial wellbeing of our company. Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts related to accounts payable, accrued expenses, and fixed assets.
Utilize Sage Intacct software for efficient and accurate data entry and financial reporting.
Conduct monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts.
Ensure that all financial deadlines regarding accounts payable are met in a timely manner.
Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
Adhere to all company procedures and controls, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP), preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in using Sage Intacct software is a must.
Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, general ledger (GL) functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
Proven ability to reconcile accounts and perform data entry tasks with high accuracy.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in accounting and financial management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
