Double Forte
jdoyle@double-forte.com
Double Forte is a fiercely independent Public Relations and Communications agency serving Consumer Lifestyle, Digital Life, and Professional Services companies across the country. We are recognized for our creative & strategic programs that deliver business results. Double Forte seeks to work with great companies doing good things in the world and in their categories. We are proud of our high average tenures for both clients and team members. Headquartered in San Francisco, Double Forte has hubs in Manhattan and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and other team members located across the country; we operate virtually, with many opportunities for in-person collaboration and get-togethers depending on where you live.
The Account Coordinator is the entry-level position at the agency. ACs hold important roles on 2-4 accounts at the agency, working closely with their teams to deliver great service and results to our wide-ranging clients. You are interested in pursuing a career in public relations, communication, social media, or content management, and you're ready to jump into a proven agency that prizes personal development as much as it does client relationships. You're curious, have good attention to detail, like to discover new things, and know how to synthesize data. You enjoy tracking things down and uncovering opportunities and insights. You are willing to ask for help and, importantly, ready to help your colleagues in a pinch.
This position will support several accounts, including some of our food & beverage accounts.
Location: NW Wisconsin preferred; other locations considered.
Key Success Factors in the First 12 Months
- Attention to Detail: You're known for finding and correcting written errors and suggesting improvements in materials of all sorts. You have a keen eye for dates, names, and important information that helps your team get things done well and on time. Before you deliver something, you look at it one more time to make sure the spelling and grammar are correct, formatting is correct, and it looks good.
- Deadline-Focused. You know that in our business, if it's late, it's often over. You're organized and have good time management skills, which show up in your paying attention to your own and team deadlines and making sure that the team is aware of upcoming due dates and calendars. You raise your hand as soon as you know your schedule is in trouble (it happens to everyone) so that the team can rework the priority list to make sure that client, partner, and media deadlines are met with excellent work.
- Written Communication. You're known for your good writing skills in client communication, reports, and summary emails. You look forward to your turn at the company blog and know how to outline and build a story or article and cite sources correctly. You use active, direct language all the time. And you deliver a great first draft free of spelling and grammar errors. Importantly, you recognize that all writing can be improved, and you welcome constructive feedback that helps you become a stronger writer.
- Teamwork. You know that our best work is done together, and you appreciate that no one goes alone at Double Forte. You do what you say you're going to do, and don't leave your teammates hanging. You bring ideas to the table to help improve our work, and you support your colleagues when they need it, just as they support you when you need it.
