Cyber Security Engineer

The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for safeguarding our organization's digital assets by implementing robust security measures, conducting risk assessments, and continuously monitoring for potential threats. This role requires a proactive approach to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards, contributing to the overall security posture of the company.Responsibilities Develop and implement robust security protocols to safeguard organizational data and networks. Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond promptly to security incidents. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cyber threats and industry best practices. Design and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices. Qualifications Proficient in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities across diverse systems and networks. Extensive experience with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. Skilled in deploying and managing advanced intrusion detection and prevention systems. Adept at conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing robust security policies. Strong background in cryptographic protocols and secure communication methods. Demonstrated ability to respond to and manage security incidents with precision and efficiency.
