Mechanical Assembler | 2nd Shift

Job Description Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Assembler $17/hr to $18/hr.
Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling metal-clad equipment and other power distribution equipment.
Your role will involve installing components, units, and subassemblies according to job specifications.
You will read and interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.
Your work will involve adjusting, repairing, or replacing electrical components/parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
Working Monday through Thursday (OT available on Fridays) Overtime pay rate of $25.50-27.00/hr.
Weekly pay Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Install components by reading and interpreting material lists and panel layouts.
Disassemble finished products, prepare for shipping, and assist in the shipping process.
Perform all duties assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or management.
Essential Skills Proficiency in mechanical assembly and reading blueprints.
Mechanical aptitude and a mechanically inclined mindset.
Experience in mechanical repair and assembly.
Capability of reading and interpreting documents such as assembly drawings/instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required.
1-2 years assembly experience preferred.
Capability of using/operating hand-held power tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
