We are looking for an enthusiastic Paralegal to join our compliance team out of our Plano office. Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard business hours Location: This position is onsite at our corporate office: 1800 Preston Park Blvd., Plano, TX 75093 Position Summary: The Corporate Paralegal will be responsible for managing various legal tasks. Primary Duties include but are not limited to: Calendaring Legal document preparation Conducting research Reviewing documents Corresponding with outside counsel, and providing other general legal support. This position will also work closely with our compliance team while collaborating with other support functions to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred 2-5 years of paralegal and/or compliance experience Strong skills in legal research, document review, and drafting Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred Experience in the home care or another highly regulated industry is a plus Ideal background would include firm and corporate experience Professional references (3) are required Benefits: Full benefits 401(k) with employer match PTO Sick time
