Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL B Route Delivery Drivers to work in our distribution warehouse in Bartlett, IL. Compensation - The annual salary range is $75,000 to $85,000 per year which includes: Hourly wage of $26.75 per hour with scheduled increases. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week. Typical work week is 45-55 hours per week. Safety shoes required; $250 vouchers provided per year. Weekly paychecks. Benefits - Eligible 1st of the month following 60 day probation period Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Life PTO (Personal and Vacation Days) Paid Holidays Career advancement opportunities Work Schedule Monday-Saturday, off Sunday and one other day per week. Start times typically between 3:30am-4:00am; work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per day. No layovers, home every day. Make 10-15 stops per day; 150-200 mile radius of Bartlett. Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs. Responsibilities Fingerprint 400-900 cases per day, highly physical, touch freight. Some deliveries require going up and down stairs. Work in refrigerated environments inside and outdoor elements, year-round. Secure loads using load straps before and after every stop. Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to restaurants, schools, and end users Drive CDL B straight truck to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnight deliveries Provide excellent customer service Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers Requirements New CDL graduates encouraged to apply. Minimum 21 years of age. Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License from state of Illinois. Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen. Must have air-brakes endorsement. Minimum 6-months CDL B straight truck route delivery experience preferred. Prior foodservice delivery local, multiple-stop, using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack preferred. Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train. Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses. Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors. Legally eligible to work in the U.S. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English. Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical. Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
