A skilled Occupational Therapist is sought for a maternity leave contract in Southport, NC, supporting multiple schools. This temporary position offers the opportunity to provide essential OT services across elementary and middle school settings from December 1, 2025, through March 1, 2026. Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to students needs in two elementary schools and one middle school Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies Utilize evidence-based practices to support students developmental and functional goals Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings Familiarity with pediatric therapy interventions and educational regulations Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs Location: Southport, North Carolina Duration: Maternity leave coverage from December 1, 2025, to March 1, 2026 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Settings: Services provided across two elementary schools and one middle school This position offers a unique chance to impact student success during a key absence in the school therapy staff.
