You will be part of a talented team that builds next generation of high-performance data systems. What Youll Do Engineer, optimize, and maintain backend services and data platform using Python, PySpark, and Databricks. Build scalable APIs and microservices that power mission-critical applications across the enterprise. Work on PostgreSQL data models to ensure rock-solid reliability and performance. Work closely with cross-functional teams in delivering resilient, scalable platforms. Dive into performance tuning, debugging, and production troubleshooting when systems need your expertise. Integrate with external systems like OpenText (a plus, but not a must). What You Bring 8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend systems. Proven development skills in Python, PySpark, and Databricks especially for heavy data processing and platform work. A deep understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and modern API design. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Experience working with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tooling. An independent, analytical mindset with a passion for tackling complex engineering challenges.
