Director of FP&A and Strategic Finance

Kiddom is seeking a handson Director of FP&A & Strategic Finance to strengthen our financial planning function and elevate business decisionmaking across the company. This role will lead business partnering, working closely with GTM, PDE (Product, Design, Engineering), and other departments, while also building scalable FP&A systems and processes to support Kiddoms next stage of growth. Were looking for someone who combines strong strategic finance instincts with the ability to model, analyze, and operationalize insights. This is a highly visible role that reports directly to the VP of Finance and will partner closely with the executive team.
Business Partnering
Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM, PDE, Content, and Operations leaders, translating operational drivers into financial plans and actionable insights
Develop and track KPIs that connect operational performance to companylevel results
develop ROI analyses and scenario models that inform investment decisions
FP&A Systems, Processes, and Infrastructure
Design and implement scalable FP&A systems, tools, and automation
Establish a unified source of truth for financial and operational data by collaborating with Accounting, RevOps, and Data teams
Build management and board reporting packages that communicate performance clearly and visually
Strategic Finance & Planning
Partner with the VP of Finance on the annual operating plan, 3year financial model, and capital allocation frameworks
Collaborate with Accounting to support cash forecasting, debt compliance, and financial policy development

Lead or contribute to special projects (e.g., pricing analysis, M&A diligence, margin optimization, etc.)
610 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking, with experience in a startup or highgrowth operating environment.
~ Proven experience in financial modeling, including threestatement models, scenario analysis, and driverbased forecasting
~ Strong business partnering skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and synthesize complex financial insights into clear recommendations
~ Handson operator with a track record of building and improving FP&A systems
~ ability to translate financials for nonfinancial leaders
~ Bachelors degree, MBA is a plus
