The Company is seeking an Executive Director for U.S. Medical Affairs Cardiovascular Portfolio Lead. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's mission to serve patients, leading the U.S. medical affairs strategy for a diverse cardiovascular portfolio. This pivotal role involves overseeing the development and execution of an integrated portfolio strategy that meets the needs of patients, healthcare professionals, payers, and health systems. The Executive Director will be responsible for maintaining strong leadership across the portfolio, translating global strategies into U.S. priorities, and driving scientific and medical excellence in the field. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including the Obesity Medical team, and external stakeholders is essential to address care gaps and advance the company's reputation as a trusted, science-driven partner in the cardiovascular community. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree with a significant background in medical affairs, particularly within the cardiovascular field. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cardiovascular disease, including atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and lipid management, and a proven track record in leading U.S. medical affairs strategies. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and accelerate progress in a dynamic environment are key attributes. The role requires expertise in scientific communication, congress planning, and external engagement, as well as experience in building and developing high-performing medical affairs teams. The Executive Director will be expected to embody the company's leadership attributes, including the ability to integrate and adapt to change, and to leverage digital and AI-enabled solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
