Job descriptionJob Title: Physical Therapist (Outpatient Locum Tenens)Location: Mount Pleasant, MichiganContract Length: 13 Weeks (June 23, 2025 September 20, 2025)Employment Type: Travel / Locum TenensPay Range: $44 $50 per hourShift: 8-Hour Day ShiftsGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (expectation up to 40 hours/week)Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a dynamic outpatient therapy team in Mount Pleasant, MI on a 13-week locum tenens contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient orthopedic care and specialized skills in pelvic health and/or dry needling.Evaluate, treat, and manage a diverse patient population including orthopedic, pelvic floor, and post-surgical casesDevelop individualized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practiceMaintain a productivity standard of 60 visits per weekSee 1214 patients daily with double-booking of follow-up appointments as neededCollaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality patient careMaintain detailed and timely clinical documentationRequirements:Active Physical Therapist license in the state of MichiganOutpatient experience preferredExperience or interest in pelvic health and dry needling strongly preferredNew graduates and first-time travelers are encouraged to applyMust commit to the full contract durationNo on-call, weekend, or clinic floating requirementsAll overtime must be approved by clinic directorWhy Mount Pleasant?Home to beautiful trails, a charming downtown, and Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant blends small-town warmth with a vibrant, youthful energy.
