Must‐Haves : Computer literate: Microsoft Suite products; heavy Excel competency; ability to learn and operate QuoteSoft. No minimum years required (entry‐level and early‐career welcome). Trade‐school background (HVAC/sheet metal/MEP) or equivalent technical training strongly preferred; degree not required (Construction Management/Engineering degrees are highly preferred but not necessary). Strong math aptitude and analytical thinking; attention to detail. Nice‐to‐Have: Prior sheet metal or commercial HVAC exposure (field or office). Hands‐on experience with QuoteSoft (or similar: FastDUCT, Wendes) for ductwork takeoffs. Vendor coordination experience (pricing, lead times, substitutions). Experience presenting estimates and defending methodology to stakeholders. About the Role: We are seeking a Sheetmetal Estimator who prepares accurate cost estimates for sheet metal scope on commercial construction projects including labor, materials, and equipment. This will be by reviewing blueprints/specs, managing bids, coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with project teams to ensure budgets align with requirements.
