Our client — a cutting-edge, venture-backed defense technology company recently ranked in Forbes’ Top 50 AI companies — is seeking a skilled Jira/Confluence Administrator to take full ownership of their Atlassian environment across both self-hosted and cloud deployments.

This is a hands-on role focused on system administration, user support, and process automation on the Enterprise Operations team. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Administer and support Jira & Confluence across self-hosted and Atlassian Cloud environments (user management, workflows, schemes, plug-ins, integrations, uptime, backups, migrations)
Manage apps including ScriptRunner, Jira Automation, Insight/Assets , etc.
Azure DevOps)
Deliver internal training, documentation , and Atlassian best practices
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Security, and Operations stakeholders
Pitch in on adjacent platforms/tools supported by the Enterprise Ops team as needed
3+ years as a Jira/Confluence Administrator (self-hosted experience preferred)
~ Strong Jira configuration skills (projects, workflows, custom fields, permission schemes, dashboards)
~ Linux administration & scripting experience ( Bash and/or Python )
~ Familiarity with ITSM or Agile team workflows
~ Bonus Experience:
Bachelor's Degree

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
