Head of Facility Management

As a TDG Facility Manager , you will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance and facility support technicians, and for planning, coordinating, and executing critical diagnostics and repair operations within a single site or multi-site facility. This position is a critical facilities leadership role that is also responsible for the oversight of preventative and proactive maintenance of HVAC and other mechanical systems. As a skilled Facility Manager, this position will also execute critical mechanical repairs on a variety of systems including water source heat pumps, minor electrical repairs, general plumbing, etc.

Support day to day repairs in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as requiredManage, train, and develop the maintenance staff, including performance evaluationsProvide technical guidance and trainingCoordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and prioritize work orders on a daily basisTrack schedules and critical facilities deadlinesOversee, support, and execute on all preventive maintenance programs and safety protocolsEnsure that maintenance technicians are set up for success in daily service executionSupport cost estimate development for special project and major repairs / refurbishmentsSupport budgetary controls within facilities maintenance.Respond to emergency situations and escalate for additive support as neededApply advanced knowledge to ensure the successful operations within the facilityLead, mentor, and support The TDG Way in values, culture, and serviceSupport the flow of information related to critical facilities needs, and translate priorities to key leadership / stakeholdersEnsure that customer KPIs and customer satisfaction are met to the highest levelFollow standardized policies and procedures to ensure consistency and qualityContribute to new processes and service standardsProvide project management oversight for critical deliverables, including any subcontracted service oversight required
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance and Commercial Facilities Management
Minimum of 5 years working specifically in HVAC, HVAC/R, Electrical, Plumbing, and other skilled trades disciplines
Prior facility management or supervisory experience required
Ability to read, interpret, and update facilities schematics within the ARCHIBUS system preferred
