About the Role The Payroll Specialist will manage bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all tax and wage regulations. This includes calculating wages, deductions, and garnishments, maintaining payroll records, and supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities Collect, review, and process employee timesheets (electronic or manual). Enter and verify payroll data in the system accurately. Calculate wages, benefits, deductions, garnishments, and payroll taxes. Prepare and process paychecks, direct deposits, and cash deposits. Maintain accurate and organized payroll documentation. Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations. Support audits, reporting, and payroll-related projects as needed. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location environment. Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance and garnishment processing.
