Commercial Electrical Foreman

About the Role

BLVD Electric Inc., a commercial electrical contractor with 150+ employees serving projects across California, is looking for an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead crews on commercial buildings, ground-up construction, tenant improvements, hospitality, retail, and multifamily projects. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of commercial electrical crews on job sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to lay out and lead work
• Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, local regulations, and safety standards
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and inspections
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
• Lead installation of conduit, wire, panels, switchgear, lighting, controls, low-voltage/data pathways, rough-in, trim-out, and closeout work
• Identify plan conflicts, field conditions, RFIs, and change order items early
• Mentor and train apprentice and journeyman electricians
• Perform quality control inspections and maintain jobsite safety and housekeeping
• Track daily progress, manpower, deliveries, and jobsite conditions, and communicate updates to the project team

Requirements

• Valid California Journeyman Electrician license
• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, including 2+ years in a foreman or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and California electrical regulations
• Proficiency reading and leading work from plans and electrical schematics
• Proven ability to lead and manage a crew in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, planning, and field problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and basic hand tools
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

Pay

• Commercial Electrical Foreman: $37-$42/hour
• Experienced / Senior Foreman: $42-$47/hour
• Top-Level Foreman / Field Leadership: up to $50/hour

Pay is based on experience, certifications, crew leadership, and the level of responsibility the candidate is ready to take on.
