We're now growing our HVAC division and we're looking for a trusted, capable leader who can take ownership of the field work, help lead installations and service jobs, and begin building out the HVAC department. If you're someone who wants more responsibility, enjoys working independently, and is excited by the idea of helping shape the future of a growing company, this is the role for you. *How You'll Make an Impact* This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who's ready to step into a larger role. You'll take the lead on both the technical and customer-facing sides of our HVAC work, making sure every job is done safely, efficiently, and up to Kauffman Gas standards. *Your day-to-day will include:** Leading and performing installation, maintenance, and repair of light residential and light commercial HVAC systems * Diagnosing complex system issues and developing solutions that keep customers comfortable * Training and mentoring junior technicians and installers * Meeting with customers to assess their needs and prepare system recommendations or proposals * Coordinating with the scheduling team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently * Participating in on-call rotation as needed for emergency service *What we're looking for:** 5+ years of HVAC installation and service experience (residential or light commercial)* Strong technical skills and ability to work independently in the field * Leadership or mentoring experience with other technicians * Good communication and customer service skills * Ability to prepare and explain quotes or proposals * EPA 608 Certification required; NATE Certification preferred * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. and working in attics, crawl spaces, and all weather conditions *What you'll enjoy:* We're not a large company and that is just the way we like it.
