The Sales Administrator plays a key role in supporting business growth by partnering closely with Producers to identify, develop, and advance new business opportunities. This position combines sales support, prospect research, pipeline management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to help drive revenue growth and improve sales effectiveness. The Sales Administrator serves as a strategic partner to the sales team by maintaining prospect databases, tracking sales activity, coordinating follow-up efforts, and providing insights that help Producers focus on high-impact opportunities. This role offers the opportunity to contribute throughout the sales lifecycle, from identifying prospective clients to supporting proposal development, managing sales processes, and helping drive successful client acquisition outcomes. In this role, you'll support sales and business development initiatives from prospect identification through opportunity conversion. Working closely with Producers and internal business partners, you'll research potential clients, maintain pipeline activity, and help ensure opportunities move efficiently through the sales process. You'll leverage data, reporting, and market insights to identify trends, prioritize opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. Acting as a key resource for the sales team, you'll help coordinate outreach activities, manage prospect information, and provide administrative and operational support that improves sales productivity and effectiveness. You'll also collaborate across departments, including Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Client Services, to ensure a seamless experience for prospective clients and support organizational growth objectives. Maintaining and updating prospect databases, CRM systems, and sales pipelines. Coordinating and tracking sales activities, follow-up efforts, and client engagement initiatives. Supporting Producers with pre-sales activities, market research, and proposal preparation. Developing reports, dashboards, and sales metrics to provide visibility into pipeline activity and performance. Monitoring business development activity and identifying opportunities to improve sales processes and outcomes. Preparing presentation materials and sales support documents for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business growth initiatives and sales strategies. Ensuring accurate documentation and communication of sales activity, opportunities, and project progress. Assisting with the development of tools, resources, and processes that enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency. 1-5 years of experience in sales support, business development, account management support, or a related field. Experience supporting multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage prospect data, track activities, and maintain accurate records. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working with CRM systems and sales tracking tools. Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
