Director of Table Games

The Director of Table Games is responsible for the overall operation and management of Casino Table Games operations, including but not limited to , developing, implementing and managing programs, processes and people in Table Games to enhance the overall successful operations of the property. Responsible for. reviews and recommends policy changes in accordance with Golden Nugget Compliance and Regulations. Reviews the internal security of all table games operations and maintains surveillance of all activities that could affect the efficiency & effectiveness, as well as integrity of the casino operation.

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Develops and manages the budget for Table Games Operations
• Review staffing levels to maintain budget levels of employment.
• Meet with Departmental Directors, as necessary.
• Provide input on the development, planning, and strategy for of companys objectives.
• Review casino activities and promotional status with General Manager.
• Oversee operations of the GNBX In-House Dealer School
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and employees.
• Offer the highest possible level of customer service resulting in a maximum level of guest enjoyment and return play.
• Attain maximum gaming product revenue by means of identifying proper product mixture, positioning & pricing levels, and further, by the evaluation & initiation of new gaming product.
• Amicably resolves customer related problems in a fast paced environment.
• Ensures the protection of customers rewards and credit lines.
• Maintains confidentiality of all Golden Nuggets trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information.
• Recruit, select, train, coach, counsel, recognize and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce excellence in business operations and guest service.
• Knowledge of current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and employees as appropriate
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
• Strong Computer Skills: MS Office Suite software, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be able to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing sight of timeframes and deadlines.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies and marketing plans.
• Ability to analyze and interpret operational results.
• Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Display strong work ethic and team work.
• Possess and/or able to obtain a valid Mississippi Gaming Permit.
• Seven to ten years experience with casino operations to include tables and administration
• 5 plus years of managing supervisors and managers
