We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance, IT, purchasing, and compliance functions. This role is designed for individuals transitioning from consulting or practice roles into a C‑Suite position, offering significant growth potential within our organization. Responsibilities Finance (Core) : Full responsibility for Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Insurance, Reporting, and all Tax topics (including transfer pricing). Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, and serve as primary contact to parent company on financial performance. Supported by the Corporate Finance Manager, who takes on many of the detailed aspects. IT Oversight : Direct oversight of two IT teams – Infrastructure/HelpDesk and Applications/ERP. There is no IT Manager layer in between, meaning the CFO directly manages priorities, workload, and in case of major projects coordination with overseas IT. Day‑to‑day collaboration occurs directly among staff across sites. Purchasing : Oversee a small team. Support the prioritization of operational purchasing processes and manage the strategic purchasing tasks (e.g. coordination with parent company HQ on group‑wide vendor ESG reporting, supplier code of conduct, etc.). In the mid‑to‑long‑term, develop the function into a more strategic role, within the limits of the lean structure. Compliance : Act directly as the local Compliance Officer, reporting into Group Compliance / Chief Compliance Officer. Essential Skills Solid background in Controlling, Accounting, and Finance in addition to leadership and managing a team. Experience in the manufacturing industry or from a Big 7 firm at a Senior Manager level. Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel. Strong analytical and methodical skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience providing reporting to parent company internationally, preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior CFO experience is not required, but motivation to learn and grow into the role is essential. Empathy and patience in team management. Ability to bridge cultural differences and work in a multinational environment. Proficiency in English is required; German is strongly preferred, and Spanish is a plus. Work Environment The position is based at our USA HQ in Florham Park, NJ, with occasional travel. You will report to both the CEO in the US and the C‑Suite in Germany, interfacing with counterparts in Germany and Spain. The role involves working within a lean structure, providing broad oversight across multiple functions. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Florham Park, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $200,000.00 - $225,000.00/yr. Very strong benefits package. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Florham Park, NJ.
