We are looking to hire a Freelance Senior Designer to start late March / early April, to work across major household appliance brand websites, brand book and logo development, print materials and presentation design. From breakthrough experiences to brand and product storytelling, your work will be seen nationally as you concept across a breadth of brands. If you believe creative work should be rooted in strategic thought and have a passion for developing creative that both serves and sells, we want to talk to you This role is hybrid to our Chicago or St. Joseph, MI office.

Responsibilities:


•Craft and own relevant stories, concepts/themes and communication strategies in collaboration with creative partners.


•Develop creative that's relevant to the consumer at different points in their shopping journey and informed by strategic insights -- across digital, brand identity development, print materials, etc.


•Flex between brands frequently and seamlessly.


•Present work to internal stakeholders with strong storytelling POV, rooted in insights and connected to the client brief.


•Translate client requirements into elegant, on-brand experiences, rooted in strategy and product storytelling.


•Assist in bringing the creative vision to life through photography and videography direction. Production capabilities a plus.


•See project through, from conceptualization to launch—in partnership with the team and leads.


•Be a stickler for detail, creating to a high standard of output in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:


•5+ years of experience as a designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work across digital, branding and print.


•Must be available to start freelancing late March / early April 2025.


•A deep understanding of brand guidelines, brand books and logo design.


•Experience designing for digital platforms.


•Figma experience and expert across all Adobe design programs.


•Experience with art direction in studio for photography/video is a plus.


•Must be capable of working autonomously or in a collaborative environment, depending on what the project requires.
