TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only: Level II Trauma Center Primary Stroke Center Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Pediatric Intensive Care The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution Required Experience: None Required Certification/License/Registry: Licensed by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 483 (Health Testing Services), Part I (Clinical Laboratory Personnel) with added specialties in clinical chemistry, and/or hematology, and/or microbiology, and/or serology. Responsibilities Job Summary: Performs a full range of waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing; reports results. Confirms test results accuracy and precision. Reports laboratory findings to the pathologist and other physicians on a timely basis. xrczosw Utilizes a complete understanding of testing procedures and theoretical knowledge to interpret results and troubleshoot problems encountered during testing.
