Construction Superintendent Lead on-site execution for high-impact multifamily & commercial construction projects.

Positions: 1 Lead Superintendent, 1 Superintendent
Work Model: On-site
Compensation: $115k-$125k (Superintendent) & $125k- $150k (Lead Superintendent) (Based on experience) + performance bonus + comprehensive benefits

You’ll collaborate closely with project leadership, field teams, trade partners, and ownership stakeholders to deliver multifamily construction projects efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

WellSuited Talent is partnering with an experienced general contractor with proven success in commercial and multifamily construction projects within the Mid-Atlantic region. This general contractor is unique because of their successful leadership experience within the industry, their project teams, and their relationships with customers and subcontractors.

This Lead Superintendent position & Superintendent role is essential to the success of each project. Serving as the on-site leader, you’ll be responsible for driving schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring all work is executed in alignment with project plans. Your leadership directly impacts timelines, budgets, and overall project outcomes.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of daily field operations on commercial, multifamily and renovation projects in the Raleigh and greater Research Triangle area. The ideal professional brings a hands-on leadership style, strong organizational skills, and the ability to proactively manage subcontractors, resources, and schedules.

Lead and oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
Coordinate schedules, manpower, equipment, and material deliveries
Partner closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and ownership teams
Monitor jobsite safety, quality, and compliance with all applicable standards
Serve as the primary on-site leader and point of contact for field operations
Track project progress and resolve issues before they impact schedule or cost
Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and provide clear direction
Utilize digital tools and reporting systems to document progress and communicate updates

5–10 years (Superintendent) of experience leading commercial, multifamily, corporate interior construction projects
~10-20 years’ (Lead Multifamily Superintendent) experience working for a general contractor on multifamily projects.
~ Background in corporate interiors, renovations, tenant improvements, or ground-up multifamily construction
~ Proven ability to manage field teams and multiple subcontractors
~ Comfortable using construction technology and project management tools
~ Commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery
