In this role, youll take ownership of Bending Spoons US tax landscape leading, optimizing, and innovating how we manage our tax responsibilities across multiple jurisdictions. Youll ensure rigorous compliance with international regulations, while shaping strategies that enable smart growth. From guiding key business decisions and complex transactions to building worldclass processes, youll play a pivotal role in safeguarding and strengthening our platform. Oversee international tax compliance and planning, including federal, state, and local income, franchise, and sales taxes, as well as transfer pricing.
Calculate tax liabilities, prepare and file returns, and manage the tax aspects of equity plans and contractor arrangements.
Ensure proper tax treatment of employee benefits and welfare programs.
Conduct tax due diligence for acquisitions and structure transactions efficiently.
Stay current on tax law changes, identify savings opportunities (e.g., R&D credits), and liaise with tax authorities and advisors.
You think from first principles, structure your ideas sharply, resist bias, and attend to the details that matter.
Proficiency in English. You read, write, and speak proficiently in English.
Youll work in small, resultoriented, autonomous teams alongside some of the brightest people in your field.
Spooners in their 20s lead products worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and youll soon be playing an essential role in major projects.

Well support you with generous travel and accommodation assistance. After that, youre welcome to work from our offices in Milan or London, or remotely from approved countries depending on what we agree at the offer stage.
