Brereton is hiring a seasoned Senior Project Architect/Manager to lead the execution of complex architectural and interiors projects from concept through completion. This leadership role combines project oversight, client management, team mentorship, and a strong focus on quality, budget, and schedule performance. What You’ll Do • Manage all phases of one large or several small/mid-sized projects • Define scope, structure project teams, and lead scheduling and budgeting efforts • Serve as the primary client contact—building trust and ensuring clear communication • Develop fee proposals, negotiate contracts, and monitor project profitability • Oversee design development, working drawings, specs, and construction administration • Coordinate internal teams and external consultants to ensure technical excellence • Track project progress, manage risk, and maintain alignment with firm standards • Mentor and supervise staff, contribute to internal standards, and participate in knowledge-sharing groups What You Bring • Substantial project management experience in architecture or interior architecture • Proven ability to lead projects from planning through construction closeout • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design (or related field) • Professional license preferred (CID, ASID, LEED AP, Architect) • Expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and team management • Deep understanding of codes, construction methods, and sustainable practices • Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD, MS Office, and project reporting tools • Strong client-facing skills and the ability to manage profitability, risk, and staffing Benefits & Perks • Year-end performance bonuses • 401(k) plan • Pre-tax commuter benefits • Hybrid schedule: In-office Tues–Thurs, optional Mon/Fri remote • Flexible work plan: Every other Friday off (9/80) or standard 8-hour days
