Software Development Sr. Director
Join Oracle as a Senior Director responsible for driving the strategy, design, delivery, and operational excellence of software components of VCN Dataplane – the networking virtualization stack for OCI. Define product strategy and roadmap in partnership with product management and senior leaders.
Operate large scale software fleets to meet OCI’s scale requirements.
Collaborate with peers and senior leadership to identify product and customer requirements, coordinate delivery, and integrate solutions to meet business needs.
Recruit and build a capable, cohesive engineering team that delivers complex projects on time.
Influence other teams and cultivate a high‑performance culture.
A BS or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of people management experience, with a proven track record in managing large‑scale critical services.
Expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and performance optimization within a technology‑driven environment.
Strong background recruiting, developing, and leading senior individual contributors and building high‑performing teams.
Expertise in low‑level programming languages (C/C++), distributed systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure operations.
Experience managing large‑scale critical services in a cloud computing environment.
