We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in electrical systems. This role involves working on construction sites to build and renovate electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and maintaining high safety standards.
*Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks related to electrical installations.
* Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working on-site.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
*Skills*
* Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
* Familiarity with NEC standards and regulations is essential.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on construction sites.
