Job DescriptionJob Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. A licensed Special Education Teacher is needed to provide instructional leadership and student support within a Middle School LINKS program focused on students with significant support needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This full-time contract position, available ASAP through the end of the school year with potential extension, offers an opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team in a structured classroom environment serving six students.
Serve as the teacher of record for the LINKS program, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and delivering targeted instruction.
Assist students with toileting and other personal care needs to ensure a supportive learning environment.
Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license.
Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Location: Springfield, Massachusetts Middle School setting
Contract position through the current school year, potential for extension
Conducted via Microsoft Teams (1530 minutes)
