Head of Procurement Location: Hybrid | Bloomfield Hills, MI (near Detroit) Compensation: Around $150K base + bonus | $200K OTE We are seeking a seasoned Head of Procurement to lead procurement strategy and operations across commercial MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects. This is a high-impact role that will shape how we source, negotiate, and deliver materials, equipment, and subcontracted services ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and excellence across the organization. What You'll Do Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets Oversee RFQs, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and purchase orders Partner with project managers, estimators, and operations leaders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings Drive supplier performance management, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing initiatives What We're Looking For 15+ years of procurement experience Preferably at least 10+ years in MEP environments Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Procore, Sage Intacct Construction, BuildOps preferred) Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI or Tableau) for reporting and dashboards Proven track record in negotiation, cost reduction, and supplier management Strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments Why Join Us?
