Job Description Position Summary
Provide the highest level of service and customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Warranty Administrator is responsible for efficiently processing returned items and ensuring that returned merchandise is accurately inspected, sorted, documented, and prepared for the next appropriate step. This position plays an important role in maintaining inventory accuracy, product quality, and timely processing of customer returns.
Essential Functions of this Role
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Sort merchandise into appropriate categories, such as: Restock, Repackaging, Quality inspection, Repair or alteration, Damaged/defective, Vendor return, Disposal.
- Perform computer lookup/inquiries to determine product location and/or description.
- Inspect returned items and accessories for condition, defects, damage, stains, wear, or missing components.
- Receive and process returned items according to established warehouse procedures.
- Verify returned merchandise against return documentation, packing slips, or system records.
- Operate Intermec scanner, virtual terminals.
- Re-fold, repackage, retag, and prepare sellable merchandise for inventory.
- Identify discrepancies between the physical product and system information and report them to Customer Service.
- WMS knowledge -SAP, High Jump, NetSuite.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions to meet deadlines.
- Follows all warehouse safety and security procedures.
- Meet or exceed accuracy and productivity expectations.
- Assist in other departments of the warehouse, as necessary.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Properly identify merchandise conditions.

None
Work Environment
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations. Due to forklifts and other equipment traveling through the warehouse the environment can be noisy, dusty, may emit gas fumes, and create excessive vibrations. Appropriate safety equipment and procedures must be followed at all times.
Physical Demands
Must be able to move around in a large, fast-paced warehouse for 8 or more hours. Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75lbs frequently. Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete surfaces. Requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Team lift - carry, push or pull up to 100lbs frequently.
Expected Hours of Work
Must be available during standard operating hours, Monday through Friday. Start and end times may vary due to operational need. Remain flexible with working schedules is required, to include working overtime, evenings, and weekends as there may be an occasional adjustment to meet the business needs.

Education, Experience and Skills
Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for business and safety purposes. Must be at least 18 years of age. 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or education. Must be an adaptive learner with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges. Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Work as part of a team and communicate and collaborate effectively with people in other departments globally. Experience processing e-commerce and dealer returns. Positive attitude - work as part of a team and/or independently. Active listening skills. Be initiative-taking. Basic math, reading, and voice comprehension is necessary. Ability to read packs, order labels, other information and match visible items and other data. Maintain regular attendance. Ability and disposition to conduct instructions furnished in written, or diagram form. Ability to identify different apparel styles, sizes, colors, and product conditions. Familiarity with apparel quality-control procedures.
